I Love My 6dot Braille Label Maker by Logantec.com

Making braille labels by hand using dymo-tape can be a slow and painful process. It’s never something I look forward to, until now. I recently got my hands on one of the new 6dot braille label makers distributed by Logantech.com, and what an amazing device. I can now make Braille labels using the built-in braille keyboard quietly and effortlessly. The 6dot does all the hard work and cuts the tape when I’m done. Label making has never been easier.

I’ve also been wrestling with finding the sort of dymo-tape that actually sticks. Lots of cheap imitations on the market that are good if you don’t care if the label falls off, such as packaging, but if you want a permanent label you need to get yourself some 3/8-inch dymo-tape from 3M. The ½-inch diameter cheap stuff won’t work with the 6dot anyway, so save yourself the pain.
