Captain Lawrence Euteneier and his guide dog Maestro, a 5-year old Bernese mountain dog, will entertain you with stories of fishing from the world’s first fishing boat for the blind.
Lawrence Euteneier was registered blind at age eight, and has fished all his life. He’s now a professionally sponsored fisher competing in tournaments, organizing guided fishing adventures, advising the fishing industry on accessibility, and teaching people with vision loss to fish. With assistance from sponsors such as Eukanuba, Minn Kota, Evinrude, Shimano, Rapala, Berkley, and others, Lawrence has invented the world’s first fishing boat for the blind
